Can the Trademark Still Be Renewed?<\/h2>\r\nThe death of the proprietor does not mean that the trademark's expiry date should be ignored.\r\n\r\nA trademark registration has its own validity period. The renewal framework under Section 25 allows registered trademarks to be renewed for further periods, subject to the prescribed requirements.\r\n\r\nTherefore, heirs or successors should identify the expiry date and simultaneously review whether the trademark ownership needs to be updated.\r\n
