What was the change?<\/h2>\r\nAccording to the ICSI advisory, certification in Form MGT-8 has been integrated with the MGT-7 e-form on MCA V3 through a static field.\r\n\r\nThis is an important change for companies and practising professionals who may have followed earlier filing workflows.\r\n

Why does this matter?<\/h2>\r\nCompanies should not rely solely on old filing tutorials, screenshots or document checklists. The current portal workflow and applicable form instructions should be checked for the financial year being filed.\r\n\r\nThe integration also raises practical questions about supporting certification records and how professional observations should be documented.\r\n

What does ICSI recommend?<\/h2>\r\nThe advisory refers to MCA's FAQ on the Lot 3 forms, which states that qualifying remarks may presently be added in the optional attachment field.\r\n\r\nICSI recommends that practising professionals continue to certify compliances on the letterhead of a Peer Reviewed Practice Unit, generate a UDIN under the Institute's guidelines and attach the certification as an optional attachment to MGT-7 and MGT-7A wherever applicable, pending clarification or rules from MCA.\r\n\r\nThis is ICSI's professional advisory.
